Why EcoLogix Group was engaged:

A wind energy developer was in need of a local representative to create a presence, interface with state, and local elected and government officials, and establish relationships with environmental groups and select communities. EcoLogix Group was engaged because of its reputation for effective relationship building, its knowledge of public policy issues, and its capacity to support client needs.


How EcoLogix Group Responded:

EcoLogix Group dedicated a senior team member to be the full-time representative of the wind energy developer in the mid-Atlantic states. In this role, EcoLogix Group developed and implemented a strategy for communications and stakeholder engagement, crafted and delivered key messages, assessed concerns and issues, and provided guidance to the client related to projected clean energy portfolio opportunities. The work included proposals to public agencies and utilities, and the development of long-term power purchase agreements.


Outcome:     

The client was able to effectively determine market potential, assess opportunities to leverage capital funds, and make informed operational decisions.
