Why EcoLogix Group was engaged:

A seaport client requested an investigation of port improvements being pursued by a competing port to determine any potential impacts on jointly used dredged material placement sites.

How EcoLogix Group Responded:

Using its knowledge of publicly available information, EcoLogix Group researched and analyzed the proposed improvements and decision documents to ascertain the construction and maintenance dredging requirements for the proposed improvements, proposed dredged material placement sites, and summarized the dredging and placement needs to determine whether the proposed improvements would have significant adverse impacts on the client’s future dredging requirements.

Outcome:

The client is now fully informed on potential risks and mutual opportunities associated with a competing port’s improvement projects..
