Dan manages environmental consulting services on a variety of projects for the Maryland Port Administration, as well as services provided to the Maryland Environmental Service in support of activities associated with Maryland’s Dredged Material Management Program. Dan facilitates the Baltimore Port Alliance’s Environmental Committee, which seeks to identify emerging regulatory issues facing the seaport industry and leads the initiative to support stormwater management capital infrastructure projects for commercial companies. Dan collaborated with the Electric Power Research Institute on a report describing Sustainable Maritime Ports, while working with a strategic partner to promote energy efficiencies and advanced lighting systems for marine facilities.
Prior to joining EcoLogix Group in 2010, Dan worked for the Evergreen Shipping Corporation (a leading global container shipping firm) holding various positions, including Office Head in Philadelphia and Regional Sales Manager in Baltimore. He has extensive knowledge of goods movement logistics relating to seaport operations and has specific expertise in the areas of business development, stakeholder collaboration and contract management.
