Missy has led diverse teams in the development of public outreach plans, conducted organizational assessments to evaluate the implementation of sustainable practices and principles in transportation agencies, has conducted programmatic risk assessments and assisted organizations in creating strategies for enhancing community support. She has also conducted intensive reviews of business processes and practices of various port agencies to identify opportunities to implement best practices for partnership development through improved communications and strategic planning.
Prior to joining EcoLogix Group in 2010, Missy accrued over 25 years of experience in public policy issues covering all modes of transportation and environmental issues. As an official with the Maryland Department of Transportation, she was an advisor to eight Secretaries of Transportation dealing with policy issues, regulation and legislation. She was directly involved in policy issues related to air quality, resource planning, rail, aviation, highway, port and transit policies and programs. She has extensive experience developing, analyzing and advocating transportation and water related regulations and legislation at the state and federal level.
Missy served on the Board of Directors of the South River Federation, was a member of the Northeast States Rail Transportation Task Force, and participates on the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Committees on Environment and Rail Transportation.
