The Port of Baltimore is known for the highly effective collaboration among port stakeholders, especially the federal agencies, state agencies and private sector entities who comprise the port community. Through the Baltimore Port Alliance (BPA), these seaport industry stakeholders engage in a variety of activities that promote the interests of the broader port community.
EcoLogix Group is engaged in facilitating the BPA's Environmental Committee. In this role, EcoLogix Group leverages its contacts and relationships of trust with environmental organizations, local watershed groups, neighborhood associations and the Port business community to develop opportunities to showcase good environmental practices. This work has led to the Baltimore Port Alliance being showcased as a model for engaging community stakeholders during EPA's 2013 and 2014 National Dialogue on Seaports.
